When a band is forward thinking they future proof themselves. The Doors were one of these bands. What would the career of Jim Morrison have been if he had gone solo, we will never know. It’s a shame that people have to become a legend by dying so young, but how much can you cram into a short period of life.

The day becomes the night, is something I think of when writing about the Doors, but they are not the only band around who have made a mark as powerful as this.
